It’s time to vote for the Longmont Ford Athlete of the Winter Season! With Spring Sports not happening this year, we’re taking this opportunity to highlight all the amazing athletes who were nominated this winter season.

Below are the athletes nominated for Erie HS! VOTE HERE, and see the rest of the nominees!

Payten Irwin – Swimming

Payten is a senior who has competed all four years in high school swimming. As you can see by her list of swimming accomplishments, it is admirable that she is so committed to her high school program. We are competing this weekend in CHSAA 3A State Championship where I am guessing she will earn another state title. Thank you for considering Payten.

I am writing on behalf of Payten Irwin to be recognized as.Longmont’s Ford Athlete of the Month. Here are a list of Paytens qualifications:

2019 3A State Champion 50 Free
2019 3A State Champion 100 Fly (55.58 would have made her a state champion at 4A as well)
2018 Two State Records CUDA
2018 Junior National Team
2017 Junior National Team
State Quals in all events except for diving and 100 back
2019 Longs Peak League Champion 200IM
2018 Northern League Champion 50 Free
2018 Northern League Champion 100 Fly
Competed in 10 high school meets this season which demonstrates her commitment to her high school team!

Payten will continue her swimming career at Washington State University in the fall of 2020. She is always willing to swim ANYTHING and is always happy to be around (even at 5:30 am practices). She is humble, genuine and 100% a team player.

Grace Moyers – Basketball

Grace has a great attitude going into each practice and game. She competes in every game and leaves nothing in the tank. She is a positive example for her teammates and lives her life with great integrity and determination. She’s been an offensive powerhouse in the month of January: 22pts vs Fort Morgan, 23pts vs Roosevelt, 21 pts vs Holy Family, and 26 pts vs Berthoud.

Ella Kitlowski – Cheer

Ella is currently recovering from a large injury. Being injured in the middle of a big routine at the League Competition Ella pushed through to still secure her team a League Championship. She unfortunately did not get to compete at her senior State Championship but was a constant support system for her team! She is pushing through in hopes of making an appearance on the Nationals floor in February. We can’t wait to see her comeback!

Three time League Champion, back to back 4A All Girl State Champion.

Kyler Caldwell – Poms

Kyler is a team captain and recently helped lead her her team to three regional championship titles including the Tri-Valley/Northern League Grand Dance Champion title as well as helping her team earn the First Runner-Up position in 4A Poms at State! She is an incredible leader that is positive and motivating to her team and always leads with her heart. She never gives less than 100% and works incredibly hard.

NDA Regional Champion, Tri-Valley/ Northern League Grand Dance Champion, Winter Challenge 4A Pom and Jazz Champion, 4A Pom State Runner-Up
