We are at the critical point in the spring where I need to know yes or no on our summer programs ASAP. Ideally I would like to hear back from each of you by 5/2 but end of 5/4 will work. At this point all I am asking for is Yes or a no. I am not asking for any payment yet. I just need to make sure we have enough teams registered for team camps.
Payment – This year like last year you will be able to pay by check, cash or credit card. I am hoping to have the Credit card registration system up by middle to end of this week. When it is ready I will email all of you.
Below is a link to a google survey. I put this together to make responding very simple. PLEASE ONLY HAVE 1 FAMILY MEMBER RESPOND. For the name/cell phone/email lines please put the players information.
Below is a review of all of our summer programs the basketball team is offering. If you have any questions please let me know.
Uniforms – We will provide jerseys for all the games. Players must wear black shorts for games.
Summer League – We will have two teams participating in the Northern Summer League again this year. Teams will play 8 games in 4 weeks (double headers each week) at different locations in the northern area. Coaches will select players to participate on each of the teams. We will only have 10 players on the roster at each game. Rosters may change each week.
Cost – $0
Dates – Varsity 5/22-6/12 (Tuesday nights)
JV – 5/23-6/13 (Wednesday Nights)
Times – Between 6&10pm (will either have games at 6 & 7pm or 8 & 9pm each night
CU Team Camp – We will take as many players as possible with us to this camp. Last year we took 5 teams. Rosters will have 8-10 players per team. Players on each roster will be selected by the coaching staff. Grade level for the summer camp teams does not matter. We try to place players where they can improve as a player and as a leader.
We will commute to CU each day for the games. We will need parents to help coaches get players to the camp.
Cost – $80
Dates – 5/31-6/2
Game Times – TBD (wont know schedules until maybe a week before the camp)
EHS Clinic – Each year we run an in house clinic to develop fundamentals & an understanding of our systems.
Cost – $70
Dates & Times – 6/4-6/6 11:45am-1:45pm, 6/7 10:30am-12:30pm
Grades – 9th-12 graders
T-Shirt – Players will receive a t-shirt

CU Challenge Ropes Course – Ropes courses are outstanding for developing team chemistry, leadership, learning when to follow, and pushing your perceived boundaries. We did this two years ago and saw great results from it. All are welcome to attend.
Cost – $43
Date – 6/14
Time – 8am-2pm
Air Force Team Camp – Players have overwhelmingly asked for an over night team camp option. We took Varsity to this camp last year and had a blast. This year we will be taking 2 teams with up to 20 players total. We will play in at least 5 games, which includes the first game of the single elimination tournament on Sunday. Camp does run on Fathers day. Players will stay in a hotel near the air force base. There will be 4 players to a room. Breakfast will be included. Additional meals will be eaten out.
Cost – $160 about (this includes hotel and camp registration)
Additional Cost – Meals out – $50 about we will leave in the morning on Friday. Players will need to purchase the following meals Friday (L & D), Saturday (L & D), Sunday (L & possibly dinner if we go deep into the tournament). Players will need this money in hand.
Dates – 6/15-6/17
Game Times – TBD
Again all of this is optional for our players. I need to know accurate numbers ASAP so I can get us signed up for the right number of teams for mainly CU and Air Force.
