Boys Basketball · Boys Basketball Spring/Summer Schedule

EHS students planning to tryout for our 2018/2019 season here is our spring/summer basketball schedule. This off season our goal is to challenge and help our players improve their over all fundamentals. We have done all we can to keep costs extremely low.  Our challenge to players is to go out and do all you can to become a better athlete and basketball player. We would love to see our guys attending individual skills camps like PGC, and college camps. We will help players by working with them during our open gyms, Summer Weight Lifting program, Summer league, and CU team camp. We are very excited to see each of our individual family members grow this year and then come back to make our family even stronger.

Player Interest Meeting – 4/24 from 10:40am-11:15am. Room TBD. If you are planning to participate in our offseason programs or considering trying out next year please attend this meeting.

Incoming Freshmen Parent Meeting – 4/24 from 6:30-7:30pm at EHS in the Main Gym. Please enter through the West gym doors. During this meeting we will discuss our program, off season programs, summer weight program, and answer any questions you may have. Parents and players welcome.

Open Gyms – Incoming freshmen can join our open gyms beginning 5/1. You must be registered to attend EHS.

Spring Dates & Times – Most dates will be Tuesday-Thursday from 7:30-9pm in the EHS Main Gym.

Summer Dates & Times

5/29 & 5/30 – 4:30-6pm

Tuesdays & Wednesdays – 11:45am-1:45pm – 6/12, 6/13, 6/19, 6/20, 6/26, 6/27, 7/10, 7/17

Thursdays – 10:30am-12:30pm – 6/14, 6/21, 6/28, 7/12, 7/19

During these open gyms we will be working to improve our fundamentals. We will have a heavy focus on our shooting form. We will determine summer league teams based on what we see during April/May Open Gyms.

Summer League – We will have 2 teams participating in the northern summer league. Teams will play double headers for 4 weeks at local schools. We will have 2 teams. Team 1 will play on Tuesday nights. Team 2 will play on Wednesday nights.

Team 1 dates – 5/22-6/12

Team 2 dates – 5/23-6/13

There will be no fee for this league. Players will be invited to play on teams based by the coaching staff based on what we see from them during the April/May Open Gyms.

Weight Lifting – Great program with outstanding strength coaches. Program is organized by the athletic department with specific times for each program. Fee per player is $80. Can register at

5/30, 5/31, 6/1 – 10:45-11:45am

June 4th-August 2nd – Our group will have the weight room on Monday-Thursdays. Monday-Wednesdays 10:45-11:45am, Thursdays 9:30-10:30am. No weight lifting 7/2-7/4

We have organized things so that open gyms are directly after weight lifting. For our multi sport athletes we are not worried about which program you lift with only that you are building your athleticism. Football players we strongly recommend you work out during the football time slots.

High School Clinic – We will run our clinic 6/4-6/7. Times are 6/4-6/6 11:45-1:45, 6/7 10:30-12:30. Fee per player is $70. More details will be out very soon.

CU Team Camp – This year we will once again be returning to the CU Team camp 5/31-6/2. Fee per player is $80. We will do our best to have a roster spot for all interested players. We will commute to the CU campus each day for our games.

Youth Clinic  – Our youth clinic will run 8/6-8/9 this year. 3rd-5th graders 5:30-7pm and 6th-8th graders 7:15-9pm. Additional details will be out soon.

Team Building/Leadership Development Activities – CU Challenge Ropes Course – Date & Time TBD.
